Which new car would u buy a SRT-4, WRX sti, Lancer EVO?

SRT....lol...sorry but domestics should just quit... SRT is still a neon. which means it still has that shitty dodge paint job that chips away within 2 years, its still a bitch car, its still small and cute and it still will not get you respect in the sport compact sceen... Its a peace of shit neon with cheap wheels, a crappy spoiler, its still shapped like a bubble, and its got dual exhaust like a muscle car... too bad its a poorly engineered hand me down 2.4 thats been used in the R/T since the damn neon came out. here's a hint GM,and chrysler. the way you do it doesn't work. your cars suck! shit, even ford gave in and they are producing zetec and with the research i've done i'm impressed. and i hate ford. you get what you pay for. its not the best/fastest bang for your buck, its a sad attempt to try and fit in, a drowning mans last thrash for the surface. First off the WRX has AWD that alone is a big option that cost money. Lets see whats better a rally race car or a neon eco box with an open differential? Second both cars non turbod suck, but even then the WRx has more power at like 160 over the 2.4 150. I'm also not sure what the srt has for boost, but i think the wrx has like 14.7 psi. i could swear the srt has higher boost levels. The wheels are better, the interior is better, it looks better, and the wrx will always have more after market support and the relighability of suburu cars. The wrx also has better paint. I don't know about anyone else, but anyone i've ever known that has a 92 and up dodge the paint chips off within two years. There is nothing better about the srt over the wrx. :monkeypis SRT

Man, you don't know jack shit about Dodge. Your statements the MOST ignorant I have heard in a long time.

1. I have never had to paint ANY of my cars, nor have my family members, and they are all well over two years old. One was even 13 years old and never needed a paint job.

2. For your information Sport Compact Car gave the Neon SRT-4 the 2003 compact car of the year award. It was competing against all other sport compact cars, including the WRX. According to them, Dodge does get it. They also said that it was a direct competitor with the WRX and Evo7 since it leaves all other cars in its price range in the dust.

3. The WRX may be in rally, but I don't know how many times I saw them on the side of the road with an overheating engine. Real reliable if you ask me? I know what you are thinking, well it is a race car you say. Well no duh, so why are you comparing it to a street car? The street WRX has very VERY little in common with its WRC counterpart.

4. The WRX has shorter gearing, and the open differential in the SRT-4 can be replaced by an LSD and still cost way less than a WRX. The SRT-4 will leave the WRX in the dust. It has faster acceleration times as well. I don't see the WRX being any faster.

5. With the new Hemi coming out Chrysler is bringing back the RWD platform, and you can bet your ass a new car is coming with that new Hemi in it, I am not talking a 300 or an intrepid. Hopefully a reincarnation of a Cuda, Challenger, or Charger. With a 5.7L all aluminum Hemi most cars can kiss their ass goodbye. Dodge is back and means business.

6. The 2.4L in the SRT-4 is a new engine that has NEVER been used in any other Neon. As far as I know the turbo isn't pushing anymore than the WRX is.

7. Don't rely on just magazine articles and word of mouth to base your "knowledge" off of. You need some experience before you come in here and make statements against a car that is clearly a revolution in the SCC scene. Also, you talk about respect, nobody will respect you when you flame others opinions like that.

first off I think all cars are great.

the srt-4? Who says it looks girly?? four door, nice scoop wrx-ish front end (well not exactly but they remind me of the other)

now the miata, that's a girly car. anyway, how much are you willing to spend?! srt-4 and wrx is a big difference. if you're going WRX you might as well waity for the 04' STi, it looks badass and it's faster than a wrx thus, faster than the srt-4.

basically it's all on you, but I say EVO!!! or wait for the STi!!!

but if you want cheapest/fastest Srt-4.

tHE NEW nEON of course!! I own a Neon and it really doesn't have a lotta balls , but the new srt4 has been proven to beat the new 350z in the 1/4. Neon did it in 14.2, 350z 14.3. Check Motor Trend for stats. It also has a top speed of 153! 350z 163. Not bad for a 4 door. Oh !! Yeah I almost forgot, Wrx,s2000,type r can't touch it!!! Read up on it!!!

WRX IMHO. About the Neon just cause SCC said it's good doesn't mean anything Dodge probbly "donated" them the most. Not to bust on Dodge but that new Neon is nothing on a WRX or an EVO. They still look so goofy i wouldn't take one anyway. The WRX is a great car and unlike either the Neon or the EVO. STi makes great parts that are still covered by factory warranty.

The guy who likes evos, just because...more power to him. He didn't have to trash talk to back up his opinion. 96 hatch...just stating he likes the WRX...hmmm notice to trash talk here either?
