Duplicolor clear and bare plastic

Is it safe to use duplicolor clear on bare plastic?Does it yellow over time?

Don't paint over clear plastic with a spraypaint unless you want the plastic to permanently fog.

Do not use Duplicolor Clear it is laquer and it will make the plastic look like alligator skin because of crazing(chemical melting of plastic). Try Tamiya Clear or Future(johnson's Klear) instead.
