Brakes and Suspension
Hey guys i have a 97 GLX and my brakes are shot. Note: dont ever buy a used car from someone that lives by the water...ive had to fix almost everything...anyways i was wondering what brakes i should get...i want brembos but dont know if i have the money for them...any other big brake manufacturers out there...any websites with good deals?...also i want to upgrade my suspension bc i just put on 18" wheels and they look they are 16 bc of my stock height....what is the best combo...coilover? if so which kind...springs?...etc.....any help would be great...websites and if your on long island a good place to get this shit done...i think my mechanic is ripping me off.

Coilovers are best, but easily the most expensive. I'd just go with racing springs if you want the lowered look. Not sure about brakes. Let's hope someone else posts.

I have a question related to exhaust systems.
I've seen them for 1k$ but others looking nearly the same, and claiming the same thing for 300$. I know if it's that cheap something must be wrong, but what? I choose the 300$ one, and I got a couple extra horses, better sound and it looks damn cool. Why would/should I have spent 1k$?
