Need some help picking out parts for new comp...
Hey all,
I think I'm gonna build myself a new comp for xmas... I already have a spare hard drive, CD-r, floppy drive, etc... I just need a case, a motherboard, a processor, and ram... I guess I need a video card too... I have a PCI Tnt2 that I could use, but thats kinda old  I need a monitor too, but that can wait... The comp will be used mainly for some games, working with flash/html, and some C++ stuff... I don't want to spend a lot, and don't need the fastest computer possible, just something that will work... Should I go with AMD for the processor? They seem cheaper than Intel... Thanks, -Grendel

Oh yea, if anyone knows any sites where I can catch up on all the latest computer hardware news stuff, please post em... I haven't been paying attention to the whole computer thing lately and need to catch up

Lol, I posted that during my first period class, but it didnt go through... then i checked my profile during second period and the thread wasn't there... wierd stuff.
