I was lucky enough to see a yellow Diablo in Chicago last year. It was amazing. Some guy was driving it down the road, so that made it 10x better.

It sounds like you had an amazing day.

I have yet to see a newer Ferrari.

I spend a lot on the road travelling for my work and some exotics I've seen so far:
Lambo Countach
Lambo Diabolo
Most Merc's, old and new ( went to a Vintage car show the other day )
Rollses and Benleys
Porsches 959, 911, GT2 (went to the Porsche days at Spa-Franchorchanps this summer)
Ferrari F-40, 550, 360
Aston Martin Vantage and Vanquish
Jaguar XK series

Still on my list of "have-to-see-and-hear-before-I-die":
Ferrari F-50, McLaren F-1!!!! Although I visited the McLaren factory a couple of years ago, I actually never have seen or heard one driving...

True. Only 56 or so were build road legal when they left the factory. However, McLaren's customer service, can modify any car into any spec afterwards. This is what happens sometimes when an F1 changes hands. So it is very unlikely that you will see one, and if you do, consider youself very, very lucky!!
