I've got a 94 S-10 Blazer, 4.3L CMFI. My computer comes up with code 32, which is my EGR Valve. My only problem is that I cannot find where the EGR valve is located. I know exactly what it looks like, but no clue where to find it.

Its directly underneath your throttlebody. Be carefull of replacing this untill you are sure the correct prom is in the vehicle. There was an updated prom to address code 32.

Thank You Very Much. I easily removed the EGR Valve. And with a very small pair of pliers, removed 2 chunks of carbon that were holding the EGR valve open. And a $3 bottle of Carb Cleaner, cleaned the valve. Now it's running beauitfully, as good as the day it was built.
To have bought a new vlave would have cost $ 150.00 and possibly taken 3 days to come in. I (taking my sweet time) had it fixed in 45 minutes. |
