That particular cobra was done by Street Weapon Composites in so cal. Any really good body shop would probably be able to do it.

Thanx a lot man !!!

Did you actually saw the system in real life ?
Can you give me more information how the system works because i would like to make it on my car.
I from Belgium so that's a long way to come looking.
If you had pics of the car from the inside with the door open so i can see the system It would be much of a help.

Thx a 1000 times man !!! U rule !!

i have not seen that hamann setup in real life on a car but ive seen it in peices

the one you want is more complicated and there are 2 types

hydralic/mechanical hybrid better if you can afford it i geuss

Mechanical

both acheive the same result but HM has a smoother action

pushing the door away parrallel to the car then rotating it up

i can draw you vague and i mean that literally pics of how each system works but installing them is a nightmare as you have to frame reinforce
inside each door you want to open fron a single pivot

I saw the Hamann door system in real life but that system is really easy to make ( believe me ) cause you just have 1 movement to maintain. I saw the car in Germany Essen Motorshow

the one you want is more complicated and there are 2 types

hydralic/mechanical hybrid better if you can afford it i geuss

Mechanical

both acheive the same result but HM has a smoother action

I would be satisfied with the mechanical system

pushing the door away parrallel to the car then rotating it up

That's the problem iI have, Rotating it up is the easiest part but I don't know really how to get the door parallell away from the car ?

i can draw you vague and i mean that literally pics of how each system works but installing them is a nightmare as you have to frame reinforce
inside each door you want to open fron a single pivot.

If you could do that for me I would be very thankful.

Installing is a problem I can try to solve but my problem right now is that i can't see the system in my thoughts.

If you could draw a picture of the system and show me how it opens in different steps I would be the happiest man on earth :flash: :flash: :flash:

THX again for your help man, I really look forward to it ...

if you have msn ===> [email protected]

Its for my own personal car ===> Peugeot 306 / 3 doors from 1999.
I'm sorry buth my english isn't that perfect ...

What is Control Milling Machine ? ( never heard such a thing )

is there a great difference between the hydraulic version and the mechanical , because i'ms sure i won't use the hydraulic version so I would be more helpen with the explanation for a mechanical system ( if that's possible).
I think i could make the mechanical system myself if i had the plans about how it works.
By mechanical system i mean a hinge with a pump ( air filled ).

Thank u for your time ... I hope to hear from u ...

Thanx a lot !!!

well yes you should use the hydralic more reliable

using telescopic splines on a gyroscopic pivot

your english is ok for a belgian

und ich kann auch ein bisien deuch sprechen ? if that helps

but with limited english its hard to explain it in terms you could understand

Machines used for billeting alloy & steel ie Wheels Gears Splines

I don't really understand how this hydraulic system works but I think it's very complicated ...

Don't you need extra things ( o don't know the word ) where the oil has to flow through and a pump also ...

is the mechanical hinge system the same with or without the hydraulic or not?

Can you please go on msn if you can ==> [email protected]

its full and wont accept my e-mail

Here is the message

ok the mechanical system relies on Tension and compresion they are i think harder to open as well as wearing out quicker to engineer one of these you would need to be a mathematical genius or have plenty of time and money to trail and error it
hydraulic systems can be set to open with car alarms\keyless entry systems plus open & close effortlessly to engineer one of these you just make it extra strong and let the hydraulics do the work
