Couple more days and counting

Came from RedstarRacing speedshop earlier and my motor's being assembled...I just need to get a couple more parts like, cam caps, o-rings, dowel pins and intake manifold gasket tomorrow then its good to go. We plan on dropping it this weekend if not Monday...So anyone interested in an LS swap (97 B18b) let me know...I will probably sell my old motor with the Y1 tranny, 91 teg axles, PR4 ECU (choose between a chipped one or stock)...Let me know if you need details. This is will be a very good Christmas gift to yourself, haha...all you need are the mount kit, shift linkage and mpfi conversion if you have a DX or STD model hatch or CRX...oh and a jdm 4-1 header too.

Its been a while, couldnt post because of the server but I miss you all

Not sure about shipping, I may have to inquire around...But long block would cost at least $900...97 LS motor w/ about 40K miles when purchased and used for less than 7K. I'm only on my 2nd oil change. The motor has no distributor and alternator but I will include the intake and throttlebody w/all sensors. I will sell the tranny separately for $500 or $1300 with the motor...I know its not cheap but I paid more for these and they are in very good condition. I will even consider giving a moneyback guarantee.

*I really prefer locals so I dont have to deal with packing and shipping but I will entertain offers especially from AF.:flash:

Best way to ship. Get a pallet big enough for everything. Get a used tire. Put tire on pallet, put motor trans etc on tire. Wrap with lots of plastic wrap, picked up from any packing store. Then go buy 4 tie downs for parts store. Go online to www.fedexfreight.fedex.com Put in rough weight, shipping class 70, schedule a pickup. Wallah, no need to speak to anyone at fedex.

I'll let you know when the time comes...I'm picking up some parts tomorrow and hopefully he can finish it by tomorrow night or Saturday. We will most likely drop it in Monday or so...in time for a break in drive to San Diego on Christmas week...:flash:
