Talking Just some photos

I couldn't allow the R390GT1 to have ZERO threads/posts, so I shall place photos here, starting with one of the VRH35L. There seems to be no attention for this LMP in this forum, probably because of the fact that it is dated and was quickly replaced by the R391. But I'm still proud of the fact that the final R390s had several high placements, as well as a podium finish at Le Mans. On the other hand, the R391s' performances were much less admirable. The 390 also retained coupe format much like the Toyota GT-ONE, while the successor went the open-top ways so many of the newer LMPs have been doing. The Audi R8, for example, reminds me of a skinned up open-wheel racer. But that's just my opinion.

Personal preference, I know, but I like the 1997 red/black cars better.

Unfortunately, that's the only race pic I could find, but I did find these qualifying pics. I never knew they'd cover up and "mask" the cars before the race. In any case, they show how bad-ass the car is in black. You want one.

The red/black one was in GT2, too. You had to win it from the Grand Valley 300km enduro race. It was one of two cars to win, so good luck.

Actually, I was referring more to in real life. The one in GT2, I have. But that all black one is really sick!! I like it even more.

Yeah, the red/black paint scheme is really menacing, but in street form, I like the '98-'99 models because they have a revised rear end which uses a flared lip rear deck style, as opposed to the integrated second-level spoiler (like the ones in current Camaros and NSXs) of the '97s. Here's what I mean (shots from Igor's webtick site):

Are there any good website for these R390 & R391?
