Getting Scared
ok...I've been searching on the internet on B18 swaps into a 4th gen civic. B18a is 90-93's & B18b is 94+, right??? & the engine that I'm about to buy is a 96-97 LS motor. & I read that if I get a B18b (94+) I have to change the tranny to a 90-93. If this is true how much will this cost me to switch???
PLEASE HELP!!! I'm going to see the guy today (Thursday) at 7pm --->4thgenhb |

Expect to pay around 200-400 dollars for a 90-93 cable actuated LS transmission. To use the newer hydraulic style transmissions you have to fabricate a custom transmission mount and use the fluid tank, lines, and pedal assembly from a car that had a hydraulically actuated clutch.
