Toyota Supra GT (strange) **lot of Pics**

To make a long story short, the body was primed with testor Gray Primer (what a mistake !!) When I paint the mody with a white Model master (testor) paint, reaction ! paint got full of imperfection and I needed to start all over... I took some Easy off and get rid of the Paint and praticly all the primer... I have tested without primer after this, but the gray primer that was on the body showed through the White paint (Tamiya Racing white this time) So I took the only primer I got in the house (Black Primer) and it cover quite well... bute cover black with white.. hummm forget it So I painted the body Gloss Black and I think it's not that bad.. ok it's not accurate to the real car, but it's kinda ok...

And here is some pic of my GT-DMT collection

Cool I like it.

Looks good to me. I'm always tempted to buy testors because of the price, but I always end up going with Tamiya paints. My homeboy uses Testors with no primer and gets a glass finish everytime with no orange peel. Hmmm. He told me all he does is sand the body and wash it with joy dish soap after for prep.

Turned out well didn't it? Haven't tried Testors paint yet - unsure cos of some of the posts - so I'm sticking to Tamiya for the moment.

BTW, nice DTM collection!!

Why not!

That's one of the great things about model making, you can do what the hell u want! You now have a unique model on your shelf just by changing the original colour scheme. Perhaps you could make up your own fantasy race history for this car to!

The black is a definate improvement.

I am a supra nut but my only complaint was that both race cars were basically white. Nice to see a bit of variety on the starting grid. Inspires me to follow your example and build a few more colour variations.

Yeah I know.

What it means is that I am building a Veilside into a race car similar to the C West.
