the ECU stores codes until its reset. If the check engine light came on like a year ago, but was never reset it would stll be in the ecu and still show the code. Have you had any fuel injector work? if not you might wanna look into what the problem is.

First you have to figure out which one it is. If the check engine light isn't on than i wouldn't worry about it

Yeah, reset your ECU first, then check again.

i think you just pull the hazard fuse under the hood for like 10 to 15 seconds

Or undo the -/ terminal on the battery. But that resets everything.

that would work, but now that i think about it i think I read somewhere that you should always disconnect the battery before removing hazard fuse....that doesnt sound right does it

just disconnect the negative terminal...be safe

They say 10-15 seconds. But I always go a few minutes just to be safe.

If your ecu is showing code 16 then you have a bad injector most likely. I have recently experienced the same problem. No engine light, but a miscellaneous starting problem.
A re-manuf. injector at an parts house will cost you about 100. I am still looking for a good injector used.

Good luck

I know someone who may still have his DPFI swap leftover, if anyone wants the injectors.
