I look at photos of the actual subjects I am building models of and look at other peoples finished models in the galleries. It kinda inspires me to try to be as good as they are....and makes me want to build...

Plus I think about the people in my model club that get jealous everytime I show up with another finished product because they're still stuck on the same project from this time LAST year!!:evillaugh :evillaugh :evillaugh

I try to model interesting subjects. You should do a model that interests you and you want to do, not a model that you picked up for $5 at the local junkyard sale! That way, you'll have a harder time losing interest. Also, if you're doing a racing model, try reading up on the history of the racecar you're doing, to see if its victories/performance inspires you.

When I start a project, I end up lying awake at night planning what to do or change on it until it drives me crazy.

Then I know it's time to get off my arse, put some work in and get some sleep!!
