what should i do?

i bought a sandwich that was supposed to have bacon in it and i didn't notice till i got thru most of it.

I take it back to complain i wasn't being aggresive then the bish walks all over me. This is at the student union shop. I said the sandwich also tasted bad. So she takes the piss. WELL YOU KNOW WHAT? i am pissed off and my stomach hurts i need to do something about but what can i do? I don't think sueing works as well as it does in the US so thats not an option .

But either calling health and safety or complaining about her general attitude would be good (she's just pissed cuz she's 40 her hubby is poor and she works some place where everyone who comes in is most likely gonna be earning 10x what she gets ....................

1st rule of University.

Never piss off or otherwise fuck with the catering staf.

ever.

They have a pretty hard job, dealing with a whole lot of immature little brats who all think they are some how special becasue they made it to university, and in 10 years they might make a lot of money and be in a position of some power. And thats only the comerce students.

They also have to deal with these brats while trying to keep them happy supplying food of high quality at half the price its really worth, while dealing with University beuracracy.

Everynow and then they will make mistakes. 90% of the time is minnor, and considering the job they do acceptable.
If you go and whine about it they will treat you like the whinning brat you are.
If they make a genuine mistake (like put a coackroach in the maccaroni cheese instead of a dead fly) and you approach them with it in a mature and respectful manner then they will gladly fix it, and you might even get a smile.

But whinnig about no bacon in a bacon sandwhich to someone who has probobly made several thousand such sandwhichs is a bit pathetic.

Sorry Moppie but its their job to give whats ordered and paid for. I understand you dont need to give them attitude but I see no reason not to ask them to get it right and for them not to take their frustrations out on the client.

what has health and safety got to do with the fact that you didn't get any bacon?and what makes you think that you need to sue someone for such a trivial slip-up?

It's no wonder that food service people get an attitude towards their customers when their customers treat them badly.I am sure you have met some prize idiots in the course of your job,but bear in mind that food service people are in a much better position to get revenge.Be nice to them,unless you like the taste of other peoples spit.

GO and do thier job for a day and then complian about it.
When they have to feed sevral thousand ppl a day you can't expect the same level of service you would get from a cafe that only feeds a few hundred.

Heres what you do. Post your address here. I will personally mail you some bacon. Several rashers in fact. I cannot guarantee it's state upon arrival, but you will have bacon. Then this poor, harassed woman can get back to her job of making food. And everybody's happy.

Excuse me?! It wasn't me with the issue to begin with, but I'll take it from here. Its precisely the attitude of "My job sucks so I'm going to take it out on you" that’s fucking over businesses now. Everyone who agrees with that assessment, send my 5 bucks out of your wallet and I'll tell you to go to hell too.

If the server is an asshole fuckwit then it should be brought to the managers attention to either have his attitude adjusted or have his ass canned.

You want to allow crappy service? Put a sign up that says “You’ll get what we give you an like it!”. Otherwise, fuck you and give me what I pay for.

The order was wrong. Assuming (yeah that word) that is all he pointed out, he should have been treated properly and had the situation remedied in an acceptable manner.
