general engine related questions

Hi, I'm looking here because I'm trying to find info about myfriend's 01 Yukon Denali. It has a 6.0L, and it is being quite the bitch trying to find decent parts online for it. Basically, I'm looking for specs on headers, and exhaust. He is looking for an increase in performance, and he is also bitching about getting 8mpg city.
headers: who makes them, where can I find info on the size of their primaries, , length of primaries and how big the collector port is on each one of them. Interested mainly in 4-2-1, I doubt anyone would even make a 4-1 for this ride, but if youhave info, its much appreciated.
Exhaust, who makes exhausts and in what sizes. I'm thinking dual exhaust mightbe the way to go, because in an engine this big, a small loss in low end torque would be meaningless to him. Only looking for stainless exhausts, preferably with straight through mufflers.

Sorry if this is too much to ask, I will be checking the forums frequently for answers.

Thanks in advance.
