Anybody have a dtm muffler on there teg?
I'm debating on buying cat back exhaust with the dtm muffler the one where the tips are turned up ,kinda hard to explain. I've herad these systems on other cras and they sounded kinda raspy so I'm wondering if it sounds like that on a teg? plus I don't know how good it would look here's the style I'm talking about http://www.aieonline.com/82/1165.htm?450
and heres the other style I'm really liking http://www.aieonline.com/82/1184.htm?450 Gimme an opinion. |

my friend has that on his 94 integra and it sounds horrible, sounds kinda like those old cars that struggle to keep from stalling, just louder because the exhaust makes that sound and amplifies it, i definitely would recommend NOT getting the DTM

I just heard one of those dtm's on a teg today and man it did sound pretty crappy. The other muffler that I posted with the oval slant cut tip my buddy has on his civic and it's sounds sweet low tone but can hear it when on the throttle and did what its suppose to and gave a little extra power.

I have a 2001 Integra I also own a shop and cannot stand that exhaust. I on the other hand have a comptech exhaust and everybody I know loves that exhaust the way it sounds and looks cause it looks stock so cops cant really say that you have an altered exhaust for two reasons 1: it does not look like it is an aftermarket 2: it an approved manufacturer product of acura and will not void the acura warranty
