Fujimi decals
Hi to you all,
My question regards the decals for the Fujimi GT40 Mk II. Are the white circle decals opaque enough that they will completely cover the black body paint? Or would it be wise to add some white decal film first and the kits decals over them for a strong contrast between black and white. I forgot to mention, this is my first Fujimi kit. Many thanks. |

The ones I have seen built lately needed a white back up decal behind them, they weren't very opaque at all.

There decals are VERY VERY thin and it wont take much to tear them either, so watch that also

If you have the regular Fujimi decals you better apply the kit decals over white decal film (Micro Scale eg.) or put two sets of decals on top of each other. If you have Cartograf decals it will say so on the box top and on the decal sheet itself, Fujimi did several GT40 releases with Cartograf decals as a premium (Identical subjects to the regular releases, just a better printer).
