Question So what does 11-day old turkey taste like???

NOT VERY GOOD But dammit, it is time to finish up those Thanksgiving leftovers!!!

If anyone with a better grasp of the true "expiration/shelf life" of leftovers should happen to see this thread soon, please let me know if I am poisoning myself by eating this stuff!!!

Thanks in advance :right:

NO NO NO dude

They're edible-tasting, and they passed the smell test, so I hope they're all good.

hey man don't eat anything in the fridge with a 5 o'clock shadow on it...even though it might look good and tastey you'd just waste all that time shaving it first...then you'd most likely die a horrible death

As long as it passes the "smell" test, and there is no hair that wasnt there before, its all good

Speaking of old food, I actually ate some expired meats just a bit ago. Unfortionatly I didnt realize that they were expired until after I ate the meat, since it looked and smelled ok.

note to self: check dates BEFORE eating foods....

Our leftovers made it till the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Proper planning and a big appetite sure does the trick!

All right, the last morsels of the turkey leftovers started to have that noisome funk yesterday, and subsequently made their way to the trash.
