the b18c should fit with the same minor problem of knocking a smal dent into the left frame rail like in the b16a case for alternator clearence.

i ordered my complete b16a swap delivered to my door for $1500 from www.hmotorsonline.com it came with everything i need to swap into my rex except the new mounts.

you need to shave hood webbing too or hood will not close...Or you can change to a ZC hood too.

So, are you going to upgrade to OBDI (i assume you wouldn't go to OBDII).........or are you going to get a nonOBD ecu w/ the gsr program? either way you slice it, you'll need an ecu that can actuate the secondaries

Or he can get the hcp mounts. ITs the same with b16s. The hood wouldn't shut all the way. So if you get HCP mounts it'll set ur engine lower and hood clearence wouldn't be a problem. Why don't u get a first gen b16 head with a gsr block? I think thats cheaper way of getting more power. You will have that nice torque.Well anyways its just a suggestion.

that would be what i would do for sure.........i hated the "2 stages of VTEC" my old GSR had (that's what i called the secondaries...cuz that's what it sounded like). just was wondering if sackerius had considered that or not
