i have found a few things i HATE about the std though....

1) the goddamn 90-91 door mounted seatbelts....they never go back into the door thus getting smashed when closing the door

2) 4 speed tranny......i always try to shift to 5th and there is nothing there....lol

3) goddamn is this car ever slow......it will be recieving my a6 once i get my turboed z6 in my other hatchie (jan ,feb)

it is relly remarkable the difference that there is in power between the std and the d16a6 engine.....it blows my mind...

When are you guys going to learn that if you don't want to smash your seat-belts, just make sure they're retracted all the way before you shut your door? hahahaha

Of course, that's easy for me to say, cuz I'm obsessive compulsive about it hahaha

i heard that the 88 crx had floor mounted seat belts and the 89-91 had door mounted.

i also heard the 88-89 civic hb had floor mounted and 90-91 had door mounted. is all this true? i need to get the facts straight.

with the door mounted seatbelts all u have to do to keep them from closing in the door is cut the little plastic nub off the bottom part that goes into the door. its a little piece of plastic held on with some string. i took mine off and never had that problem again
