Smile ITR progress

I have finally started work on my ITR again.
I have re-scribed most of he panel lines to make them deeper, I pulled off the fake looking side skirts and rear bumper, and put a skyline front bumper on it. I am waiting for the lip to arrive from Kicker so I can stick it to the bottom of the Skyline front end and make it lower :smoka: .

Here is a crappy scan. (Don't worry, the scanning ends at christmas time when I get a Digital Camera )

And in case you are wondering, yes it did get hit by a bomb :finger4: , :hehe:.

Re: Re: ITR progress

Thanks for the encouraging commets guys.
I sat down for about 2 hours today with a piece of sandpaper, a lead pencil, some putty, some styrene plastic, and a exacto knife. It is looking more like a car now. I will take some scans when everything is dry, most likely will be early tomorrow morning.

My first putty job .

Cheers.

P.S: The reason why the body looks so grey in the pics, is because I gave it a coat of primer yesturday. So when I sand and fill, it is more noticeable where the putty needs to go.

UPDATE

Here is the update. I have started on the GFX (white styrene around the bottom).

The sides are now a lot smoother (if I can say it myself) than the pictures show.

That is a lesson I learnt the hard way. I wont go into details, but you can see the result at the top of this page...
