noisy speedo cable

I'm getting squeaking behind the cluster can the cable be lubed and if so how and where....not a big thing but very irritating on these cold mornings

yeah i would try pulling out the cluster and spraying W-D40 down the cable...if worst comes to worst.. just replace it....
