yeah on the right side of the shifter on the inside there a electrical connector that sides when you move the shifter... what you need to do is remove the hole cover the surrounds the shifter that includes the stereo once you do that you will be able to see what I'm talking about then remove the electrical connector then pry it open and clean the siding contacts then put some electrical grease and put everything back that should fix your problem that what i did to my 93 integ and it has work fine
