Tinted some lights (lots of pics)

Anyhow, I read a how-to on Nwhonda.net so I went down to walmart and got myself an axius winshield tint strip for $3.

Corners

Bumper lenses

Taillights

I dont like the way the tails turned out so I will probably end up taking the tint off and painting em later, maybe something like what this guy did with his accord.

I considered the headlights, but they have those damn nipples sticking out of them that I would have to cut around, so I said the hell with it, figuring it would look gay.

The bumper lenses were really easy, the tails were aight, and the corners were a bitch cause they have a little bit of writing on em so I had to keep squegeeing to get all the bubbles out of the tint while it dried.

Its a 4dr, there aint shit for aftermarket lighting made for it, I was suprised to even find clear corners and bumper lenses for it.

Thats what the guy with the accord (shown earlier in this post) did with his, he also made a set of red/clears, but painted the INSIDE of the lense, below are some pics of that

Thought about it, but I think the tint would start to peel and chip and whatnot really easily, so I'm gonna pass.

I painted my tails with candy apple grape paint, they say to use candy apple cherry I think it is, but I used grape and it looks pretty good.

Update, so it was raining today and when I got to school both of the corners tint had come off. Bumper lenses and taillights are still on there pretty good

Greg: Yea, I still got a little bit, more than enough to do your bumper lenses.

The guy with the accord with the red/tints shown earlier in this thread had his tinted with the good shit and not the "insta-cling" shit I have. Maybe I will try that on the corners.
