Question How to release fuel pressure - 02 Venture 3.4L

I did a search and could not find how to release the fuel pressure so that I can replace the FPR on my 02 Venture 3.4L

Does anyone know how to release the fuel pressure?

Thanks
Darren.

Re: How to release fuel pressure - 02 Venture 3.4L

remove fuel cap. then goto power steering pump, as looking at front of engine just to the left of the power steering pump there is a service port on the fuel rail, should have a cap on it that looks like a tire valve stem cap. remove said cap and gently use small screwdriver or similar object to release pressure. BE CAREFUL NOT to shoot yourself in eye with gas....shouldn't have that much presure, but it could.
