Problem with Check Engine Light

The Check Engine Light is on and also, I can't turn my ETS back on. It displays that it is off, and when I push the button, I can't turn it off.
Any suggestions???

Also, I had to pull my thermostat out of the coolant bottle the other day, and it was frozen in there. In the process of getting out, I broke the housing. Can someone explain to me what parts are needed to put it all back together?
Thanks,

Re: Problem with Check Engine Light

The ETS shuts off any time the Check Engine light is on. You need to get the codes read from the ECM and clear them in order for the ETS to work.

As far as your thermostat housing goes, I'm not sure without seeing it but you could stop in at a GM dealer's parts counter and get a picture of the individual parts to see what it is you need.
