Question About 1955 Carburetors
I need a carburetor for my 55 Plymouth 230 straight 6. It has a 2248S on it now and I can get a 2261S for less than half price. My question is, will they interchange. Thanks for any information you can give.

Re: Question About 1955 Carburetors
You would need a manufacturers interchange book for this info, but remember even though the carbs may look the same, flow rates and jetting may be different. I have one, give a me few days to get the info. Std and auto are different also.
