i've got a problem

i have a 91 honda crx 1.5 sohc 5 speed. sat for a year i bought it ran great for about four months or so , just idled low sometimes. occasionally it would hessitate to start but always started. and one day it didn't . the motor turns over but doesn't start. i got spark can hear fuel pump. battery went dead attempting to start it and when i got a jump, for some reason my amp wire started to melt to the other possitive wire. but there are no blown fuses and all lights still work. any advice?

Re: i've got a problem

are your injectors firing? Just because you can hear the fuel pump prime, doesnt mean your getting fuel
