2005 Silverado A/C Controls

I have a 2005 Silverado with Leather and Bose, however, I do not have the digital A/C controls. You can get the digital A/C controls on ebay for 50-100 dollars but my question is will they work in a truck that already has the manual controls? I know there is only 1 or two connections in the back of the controls but is that the same connections?

thanks,

Brent Causey

No way unless you want to change ac/heater and all wiring and PCM/VCM plus Body pcm.

Re: 2005 Silverado A/C Controls

I have an '05 with the digital controls and it ain't that big a deal...it's sometimes confusing and every once in a while the screen blanks out...if I took it to the dealer they would hit me a "bring it back when it's doing it" and of course that almost never works. My last two Silverados had the manual controls and they worked 100% of the time.
