1992 Cabrio Stalled/ Kill switch???

My 1992 Cabrio Carat 5 speed stalled on the highway today--When I pushed in the clutch to try to restart- Nothing Happend!! All electrical worked,voltage was good--but not even a noise-wont even try to turn over-i --Is there a kill switch or somthing I am missing or havent found?? I have tried unlocking the doors and then starting--Mess around with the clutch-Pulling the ebake-Nothing --- HAd to pay $250.00 for a tow :< Boston to providence-
Any ideas guys!!!
