more 4x4 problems
so the maunal hubs on my 92 explorer will not lock, i turn and they wont click. the 4x4 light is almost always on and i cant control it. so im assuming its the hubs and maybe the sensor also, i'm not sure though. would cleaning the hubs make them lock into place or do they just have to be replaced? this rear wheel drive only is making it very hard driving in upstate n.y. this year.

Re: more 4x4 problems
Were these manual hubs stock or did you have the aftermarket conversion kit and hubs installed on it? If so what brand are they? If you're turning them and they aren't clicking into place then very very possible they need cleaned or something may have broken.
