'04 Redline tires and ABS
I have a 2004 VUE Redline with about 40k on it.
At about 30k the tire were shot. I was quoted $300 a corner for replacement 245-50-18 stock tires. I went to Tire Rack and found 235-50-18 for $77. I went for all four of them. 10k miles later, I'm getting what seems to be ABS brake pedal pulsations when the brakes are applied. It does not do this with every brake application, however. Is it possible that the ABS is now reacting to the different tire size, or that the tires have sufficiently worn down enough to confuse the system? |
