fuel Injector electrical problem

95 S10 Blazer 2dr 4x4
OK here the just of my problem and i need some input on where to get this part or what possible solutions are out there.

Basically my wiring harness that runs to the spider fuel injector (CPI) keeps burning up on me i have had it replaced and it lasted about 2 and a half months now my mechanic straight wired the electrical connector to the fuel injector and it runs fairly well but once it gets warm it begins to idle very erracticly like it is surging it sounds like it may stall and then the idle picks up so it never really does.

What do i do?? i've been told the dealer doesn't make the wiring harness plus if i could find a used one is it worth fixing because it keeps getting hot enough in there to keep burning up please any suggestions would be apperciated

Re: fuel Injector electrical problem

You need to find what is burning up the wiring.
May be bad injector unit.

Check another dealer for the wiring.

Yes and also lose connection on injector wiring and shorted wiring.
How many amps is the injector pulling?
Has it ever blowed the fuse?

If the wiring is burning up you need to find the cause and replace the wiring with a good wire set.
