I replaced the CPI in July 2004, I replaced the CPI July 2006, Engine won't start I've got 60psi fuel, and I have spark but won't start. I think its the CPI again what can cause the CPI to go bad all the time, or do you think it might be something else.

Re: 93 S-10 Blazer Engine won't start
Is it getting spark to all plugs.
Like dist turning good. And still timed right? Got compression? Pull plugs and see if they are wet?

I took a look at the distributer. It was rotating. I removed the control module and had it tested, it was good. I put it back in and replaced the roter while I was at it. I also replaced the CPI while I was at it. I started the frist time. It seams to be running fine. My real question is why I have replace the CPI three times in the last 5 of so years what can cause the CPI to go bad?

That is a little to often. Was the CPI unit actually bad? Or what is failing/quiting on it? I have had some problems with the CPI wiring harness that runs into the intake. If it gives any more problems make sure it is getting injector pulse to the intake plug in and then check the injector wiring in intake real close. Good luck

Re: 93 S-10 Blazer Engine won't start
Thanks for the reply. I will look into injector pulse. I did clean the electrical connection that goes on top of the CPI unit with electrical cleaner.
