I have a 91 Honda Accord, Auto Tranny. My Speedometer has been sort of jumpy at times. Cruisin around 70 or so, it will jump up to 80 and get stuck there until I slow down some. Is that my speed sensor going out? Also my torque lock up will kick in and out at random. any suggestions would help. If it is my speed sensor, how do I replace it?

Re: transmission
Speed sensor is located in the top of the tranny housing, above and inboard of where the passenger's side CV shaft goes into the case. it should just have a bolt that holds it in the case. Once you find it, it's easy to replace.
I agree it could cause this problem.
