!991 Old ciera

Check engine light is on. There are no codes stored. Cruise control doesnt work, I can not find a spot for a fuse in the fuse box for cruise control all fuses in box are good. I replaced o2 sensor, sparkplugs, fuel filter air filter. When I drive my car seems to jerk[not side to side] and the check engine light and temp light flash then the speedometer drops to zero and the check engine light stays on Temp light goes out. Temp gauge shows that I am not overheating.

Cruise will not work when certain codes are stored, try and get this on a scanner, the pcms were troublesome in these years also.

Thanks Did you read my previous e post? There are no codes stored. Oh are you saying that just using a jumper is not sufficient?
