2dr HB window motor gear source

1994 Escort LX 2dr HB. Power window motor works but the hard rubber/plastic gear that's suppose to move the "ball bearings" along is too worn to function. Does anyone know an aftermarket source for this gear? Ford only sells it with the motor for $300+. It comes off with a circlip removal. Can get a used regulator ass'y for about $50-$100, but no guarantee the gear is any better than mine. Is a hassle for both me and the gate guard to open door and show ID when going on Navy base. Or anyone parting one of these?-need some interior trim parts also. A direct email would be best, Thanks
