ford bronco 2 tranny problems

i have an 85 bronco 2 it drove fine all day we went in the store came back out and it wouldnt idle or shift well the idling problem was a melted map sensor line and vacuum leak it idles fine now but will not shit into 3rd or OD, if i manually put it in od and downsfift it will go to 2nd. Could my electronic shift control have went out or what any help would be greatly appreciated.
