Looking for specific rally wheels

Hi,

I'm preparing for a build of a Group N rally car. Specifically a Mitsubushi Lancer evo IX from the Dutch rally championship. Most of the evo's here use the same wheels/rims: 18 inch 12 spoke Team Dynamics Motorsport rims. As yet I haven't been able to find anything which comes close to this in 1/24 scale. So does anybody know of someone who makes these rims? Here's a picture of the rim in question:

Thanks,

Tim

These could be made to look like them if you switched out the centers:

There may be others out there which are closer - I will have a look around and post if I find anything else.

Re: Looking for specific rally wheels

They look pretty close to the wheels that Tamiya puts in some of their Peugeot 206 kits.

(Thanks to Ricky for the borrowed pic)

Some of Tamiya's 206's (like the 2003 Monte) have two sets of wheels- so if you asked in classifieds you might find someone with a spare unused set.

Re: Looking for specific rally wheels

Only problem there Andy is the Oz wheels on the Pugs are 15 spokes so they are close but the spoke pitch may be too great for what Tim is looking for?

Hi Tim

Renaissance does make 11 spoke wheels. Only the very keen observer will notice the difference (and everybody that has read this thread, of course)

Re: Looking for specific rally wheels

Thank you all for your ideas. The 15 spoke Peugeot wheels did come to mind, but 3 extra spokes will be to much (for me at least). The 11 spoke Renaissance wheels look like a viable solution though. I'll take a closer look at those.

Re: Looking for specific rally wheels

I looked at the Renaissance wheels, to me the difference was too great which is why I didn't post a link to them - here's a link to a better photo:
