96 headlight help

I need help.....how do I Change the headlights on a 96 GSX? There is one bolt that is extremely hard to get at and stupid.

You have to take the bumper off. There are 3 you get from behind the headlight and one from the front of the car. Trust me, you cant get the headlight out without taking the whole bumper off. Even if you can get the bolt out you cant get the headlight out.

How exacly do you take the bumper off....the front liek 8 bolts....and the fdender bolts and the walla?

All the bolts under the front, the clips in the front on the top of the mouth part. Clips in the wheel well, and the 2 bolts right above the side markers on the inside. And 2 more clips under the headlights.

Is it hard to get at everythign? est. time? and are the clipse easily removed and do they break easy?

Just find a screw driver that fits them good so you dont strip them out and they are easy. It should take you about an hour or two the first time. I can have mine off in like 10 min tops, but I dont have those 9 screws on the bottom of mine anymore.

On the bottom? I have screws on the top in the middle of my bumper.

Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order.

The Purple People Eater will ride again... January 2011 can't come soon enough.
