I traced a black fluid leak up to my front engine mount. Should I still be driving it before repair? How do I replace it?

If you are 100% sure that it is a brake line or something to that effect, I would not continue to drive it. Take it to get fixed as soon as possible. God forbid you should lose your breaks when you really need them.

It is indeed the engine mount. The front mount on our cars is fluid filled.
I'm sure you can drive it, but I'd try to replace it as soon as you can - weeks, not months.
