A.I.R. Pump

Does anyone know where this A.I.R. Pump is located on '05 TB 4.2? And does this pump only run at vehicle start up? I have made a few posts about a whining noise previous when I first start up the vehicle and after searching and searching I am being more and more led towards this so called pump that is electrical and is suppose to only run at start up.

hey.. i have one in my bravada(both are same cars under the hood and inside). its in one of the panels on the right side when u open the trunk... there's a button there that controls the air inflator. mine came with a 20-25 foot hose, i'm not sure if the TBs come with them...hope this helps

I think he means the Air Injection pump for the emissions system, should be about under the drivers seat area attached to to the underchassis.

Yup I did mean the pump for the emissions. Thanks a lot I will have to take a peek under there when I get a chance and see how much of a mofo it is going to be to get at it and replace it.
