i purchased a engine killer (Heal-A-Seal)... didnt know it at first.... used it according to the instructions to stop a leak from the waterpump gasket.
my engine is now worthless... after a while of using the stuff... my water pump completely stopped working, rather started making a huge clunking sound :S also made the engine over heat due to it clogging up the radiator. had to get a replacement VG30-DE enging for muh Zed and of course the very supportive people selling the product (cough, cough) have covered there arses with riddled policies which would equivalent to 12ft thick lead barricade. buying this product from my experience is a BIG no no!!! just FYI if you come across this product |

Re: Heal-A-Seal or Kill-A-Seal
thank you for the heads up. sorry to hear about your problems.
BTW: Avoid using anything of the sort. The only type of engine cleanser or leak stopper I have never heard horror stories about is Seafoam.

Misleading advertisement, it's full of lies.
Do not buy it, it's a scam to get your money. I lost over $200 and my engine is worthless now. |

Re: Heal-A-Seal or Kill-A-Seal
sup adbrr, welcome to the forum
As a general rule of thumb, if the thread isn't on the front page of the forum then it's probably pretty old and it's probably best to make a new thread if you have something to put out. Hows the 850?

Re: Heal-A-Seal or Kill-A-Seal
If you're not already using a good synthetic oil try switching to that, seems to clean out some of the crap.
Just some general advice, this forum doesn't get a lot of traffic, we're probably well below one post a day average. Fortunately there is twinturbo.net, a site that is very active and filled with very knowledgeable, helpful people. Just about anything you can think of has been asked and answered there, you can usually find what you're looking for just by searching the archive of past posts.
