04 aftermarket radio pics

Hello, I'm looking to look into a aftermarket radio for my 04 Malibu.

I know that the DIC is tied in with the radio so it would prolly need some dbl din kit for it that has a aftermarket display on it. i was wondering if any one would be willing to post some pictures of the completed installation, so i can get an idea of what it will look like. And i would like to know what everyone thinks of the after market display? any problems like freezing or anything?

in any case any pictures would be appreciated!

and some things that kind of like to brag but yet crab about the 04 boo.

the pros:

Speed sensitive wipers very cool!

Headlights turn on with wipers Ive always said that for years! wipers on lights on!!

Turn signals as DRL's makes it better to see in my view

Back up lights on when unlocking doors @ night.

OK now the cons

Intra-grated DIC on base Malibu is a piece of junk

problems with the DIC:
When below freezing conditions the DIC only flashes ICE POSSIBLE once for 5 seconds. where in other cars they flash ice every 10 seconds for at least a minute.

If viewing a Driver info such as a trip or fuel range. you lose your clock and temp.
there was no gallons used or instant Econ like in the impala i think?

Thats it for the DIC any ways. i wish i had the up level boo it has the 2 line display in the radio so you don't lose your clock or temp.

The head lights this one drives me up a wall.
When unlocking doors @ night the HIGH beams come on. i thought this was a big safety issue because if at night you are parked in the road and an oncoming car is coming, they are totally blinded by the high beams. i don't know about you but this was a stupid thing to do. Plus once a door is opened they shut off?, i don't care for that ether.

Head lights again, after exiting the car you only have 20 seconds until they shut off it should be 45 at least, i was surprised that wasn't a changeable option in the DIC but it really should be longer.

I STILL LOVE MY MALIBU it rides nice and gets good fuel range i will definitely buy another one when i am ready
