Fuel Injector Replacement

I own a 95' GA V6 3.1L with 170,000 on it. I have tried various fuel injector cleaners, but one of the injectors is still clogged and needs to be replaced. Is it true that you can't just replace one, but that you have to replace all 6 at one time?

Re: Fuel Injector Replacement

I've had several vehicles where only one fuel injector was replaced, and had no problems. Also, most parts stores only stock one or two (so replacing all is probably not common). I had a customer one time who wanted all 6 replced on his car, and we had to get injectors from 3-4 different stores because nobody had enough.

Re: Fuel Injector Replacement

One will cost you about $100, you can find places that sell 6 for around $250-300 on the net.

Though you can just replace singles with not much troubles.
