So...how is everyone doing?

Hello puppettssss.

What's up guys?

I haven't been frequenting here too often because it's often dead here

So how is everyone? How's everyone's lives doing? Just wondering for the sake of my return, and just wanna see how everyone's doing, hopefully well .

It also appears I missed a lot...some interesting posters here (I laughed at one made by lazyass, and his "where to meet chicks" or w/e post, I haven't laughed so hard in a long time from an internet post). I guess the interesting posts alone will attract me once more to this board

Anyway....

For me, I've been just chillin, busy with school and college applications (yuck).

I miss my car to death...I can't go on a day without staring at pictures for at least 10 min.

I just found GTMike400 (mod of the diecast/modeling section) and porscheguy9999 on another forum, the same one (not posting which one, don't want a trip to banlandia for spamming )

Oh yea, happy holidays to everyone! Who's gettin what for xmas and chanukah (SP?)?

(for anyone confused at the point of this thread, it's just a general inquiry/random thread of how everyone is doing these days)

Re: So...how is everyone doing?

I am pretty much in the same boat. I haven't been on here in a long time. I have been so busy with work and other job related activities. It's good to come back once in a while though.

Re: So...how is everyone doing?

Let's see. I moved a few months back; my room is now smaller than where I was,
I put my collection and collecting on hold
and for some strange reason I got myself addicted to Flash Flash Revolution. (I'm not even going to go about how that happened)
Just trying to squeeze some time in here as well...

Re: So...how is everyone doing?

Life's pretty good. I went skydiving the other week, and I'm planning on going Scuba Diving on a wreck in January some time.

Other than that, I've been getting fit again, studying pretty hard on various IT industry certs and paying off my debts so we can move to Ireland for a couple of years.

Re: So...how is everyone doing?

Nice nice.

Oz, how was skydiving? SCUBA diving sounds sick. Sounds like you're leading a good life of leisure

If I remember, you like trance/electronica. Have you been to any concerts any time recently?

Good to see you're doing alright Hobbes, hows the diecast coming?

I saw your other thread Damien, congrats man!

Indyram and bluciv

Re: So...how is everyone doing?

Skydiving was awesome fun. Me and my gf both did a tandem, and when my guy jumped out of the plane, we immediately did a triple backflip.

It's pretty cool to go through clouds, it's a slight moisture on your face.

We're planning on doing our first solo jump next year.

I've never been Scuba Diving before, but it's something cool I'd like to try - along with an open sea kayak.

Remember - work to live, don't live to work. And do something you enjoy - if you hate what you're doing, you're in the wrong job.

Haven't listened to much trance lately, been greatly expanding my musical taste and collection. Although I've got tickets to the Big Day Out:
www.bigdayout.com

And we're seeing the Chemical Brothers when they come to Sydney next March.

And we're getting tickets to V festival:

Re: So...how is everyone doing?

Life is good. I graduated college in August and now I'm an Import Buyer for a medical supply company. I like my job and it seems very promising so I can't complain. My current mission is to find a good deal on a house to buy as the mortgage industry continues to crash and be out of mom's house by March.

Re: So...how is everyone doing?

i've been rediculously busy with school, rowing, and partying so i haven't had much time to spend on here.

my boat made the finals at provincials, 6th overall, and we beat the university of ottawa (our crosstown rivals. GO RAVENS!!! WTF'S A GEE GEE WTF'S A GEE GEE) so we achieved our goals for this year.

i gave myself acute kidney failure, spent 3 days in the hospital stoned off my ass on morphine (it's a hell of a drug). i did a 2000m sprint (rowing, i did what they do in the olympics) but i was dehydrated (didn't have time to eat or drink before practise and wasn't drinking enough water the few days before) and i gave myself kidney failure. no permanent damage but i lost 2 weeks of rowing, which is one quarter of the university season.

i've lost about 18lbs since the begining of the year (4 since i started my post-season weight loss) so i've only got about 10lbs more to go. i'm trying to cut down to 160lbs to be a lightweight, i'm around 173 right now. i can lose a few pounds of fluids for weigh in's.

right now i'm studying for my math exam tomorrow which is going to bend me over and destroy my anus.

Re: So...how is everyone doing?

Incredibly busy, with work and family.
I am delighted every day by the new and terrific things that my 22 month old son gets up to every day.

The staff in my department that I manage at work consists almost entirely of 20-24 year old girls who are fixated by raunchy debauchery, (just not with me, though ) and talk about it all day.

My other hobby (vintage watch collecting ) suffered a minor setback when I found out a really nice recent purchase (circa 1930) actually has a radioactive Radium dial (It glows in the dark but spews hazardous radiation )

Re: So...how is everyone doing?

Meh, radiation is good for you. It's the new fountain of youth. Wait a minute, maybe that was cryptonite. All jokes aside, the small amount of radiation from the watch shouldn't case much of a concern. The average half life of radioactive material is about 435 years. It really depends on the particular type, so I wouldn't worry too much.
