Smelling gas after start up an engine in 2004 quest

Hello!!
I own a 2004 quest with 61,000 miles. I noticed that every time I start up my car I can smell gas. Sometimes it happens during the drive but most after starting up my engine. Does anyone can tell me what may be wrong?
Thank you

When you fill up, do you stop once the noozle clicks off? Or do you try to put more gas in? I'm not knocking you, I just know a lot of people have this habit of cramming as much fuel in the system or put in even dollar amounts. Also, you might need a new evaporative canister. The charcoal gets saturated over time with the fuel vapors in the evaporative system.

Check the clamps at the fuel filter and on the piece of rubber hose that connects the front and rear fuel rail. They tend to leak a bit when they are cold at the clamps. Tighten the clamps if they are loose and see what happens, you may have to replace the fuel rail hose, but 60,000 isn't a lot of miles, so I would check the clamps. Have you had the fuel filter changed lately?
