VW GTI Progress Pics

Here is the VW Golf V5 that I am converting to a two door GTI. I have shaved all the moldings and door handles. Cut a custom front bumper. I just finished the seats and harnesses. I added some bare metal foil to the pedals. The dash is kinda plain but that is how it is in my real 1:1 GTI.

I think I am going to make some floor mats out of masking tape and put some black flocking on them.

cool, like the 4 - > 2 door idea, but how come you didn't re-locate the
B-pillar?

Thanks for the replies.

To make it a true 2 door I should have moved the B pillar back a little, but this is a rare kit and I didn't want to mess it up. I pretty much just put putty over the door lines and door handle. I then had to re-scribe the front door line because on the 4 door it is concave and on the two door it is concave.

I didn't prime any of the interior. The seat belts are from the studio 27 belt set.

I think I am going to put a custom front mount intercooler behind the big opening on the front bumper.
