starts. then idles rough and almost dies
i bought a 92 eagle talon tsi awd. 2.0l turbo.. and when i start the car it runs rough, even after it warms up the car still idles rough.. almost like a skip but i replaced the spark plugs with ngk r. and plug wires.. the BOV is stock and everything else is stock on the car.. i wanna know if anyone could help me out.. if u need to know more let me know.. thanks

also.. car runs below 1k rpm.. nd revs up and down by like 200-300 rpms.. and then once and awhile almost dies..

along with the rough idling.. when i rev the car up slightly it hessitates when i press and hold the gas for a second it kinda flutters.. then after like 2500rpm or so it will clear out.. can anyone help me with these problems?

I really wish I could help you more. Maybe you have a boost/vac leak. Are you recirculating your BOV? Maybe a bad o2 sensor? Do you have a check engine light?

Could be a bad TPS or the TPS may need adjusting. You can test it by following the directions here:
http://www.plymouthlaser.com/tps.htm Just do the tests, don't remove your throttle body or adjust the TPS. If after you test it you determine it is bad or out of adjustment, then make the adjustments while testing.

the BOV is recirculated.. no check engine light.. and everything is stock set-up... the kid who owned it b4 me told me that there is no balance shaft, egr valve in the car.. would that have anything to do with the rough idle? noticed that it idles lower when cold, and once warms up it idles at liek a thousand but just rough.. sounds like it has cams but it doesnt.. the whole motor will shake once and awhile and when i rev it up everything is fine.. just idle is rough.. i can take a video if that will help

well ive been reading around and checked out the car for the past couple days and i think the 02 sensor is bad because the exhaust smells like fuel and my air-fuel gauge will read one second then it wont read anything for awhile untl i rev the shit out of it.. and i unplugged the 02 and it ran the same way..
