'04 Grand Cherokee Electronic Problems
I have a 2004 GC Laredo, the the power windows don't work, the interior lights never turn off...have to turn them off manually. The power door locks also don't work on the driver side....and the keyless entry locks and opens every door but the driver door...is it a wiring problem or a fuse problem...or what is it?

Re: '04 Grand Cherokee Electronic Problems
You probably have a broken wire in the harness going into the drivers door.

Re: '04 Grand Cherokee Electronic Problems
I had the problem with the drivers door power lock (unlock) not working. It turned out to be a bad actuator inside the door. I guess the drivers door gets used a lot more than the other doors.

Re: '04 Grand Cherokee Electronic Problems
i agree w xj, i had this problem in my jeep. you just open the door, pull of the flange cover, slide it over to reveal the wires and look for the frayed covering. Mine was the ground wire. I just got a wire connector, spliced it together and then wrapped it w/ electrical tape. No problems since. Good Luck.

Re: '04 Grand Cherokee Electronic Problems
Like i said before, try to undo the flange between the door and the car first (use a flat head screw driver to pry it off) and look at the wires, it may just be a frayed wire that you need to splice or just put tape around. if this isnt the problem then you need to get a special pry bar from a parts store to pop off the connectors around the inside panel (there is about 5-10 of them around the panel, and be careful b/c they break easily) and then you can lok at the connections for your locks and windows. Try the wires first though.
